R. Scott Barber, Regional President of Caesars Entertainment, has been elected President of the 2016 AutoZone Liberty Bowl Festival Association. Barber is a longtime board member of the AutoZone Liberty Bowl Festival Association.
“The AutoZone Liberty Bowl and all of its year-round events make Memphis a special and unique travel destination,” said Barber. “I’m proud to serve as President this year, as we continue to showcase the Bowl’s rich history, St. Jude and the entire Mid-South community throughout the year.”
“Scott has been a strong supporter and advocate of the Bowl and all our activities for many years. We’re excited about the energy, enthusiasm and dedication Scott brings to the AutoZone Liberty Bowl,” said Steve Ehrhart, Executive Director of the AutoZone Liberty Bowl.
In addition to the AutoZone Liberty Bowl, Barber is also involved with several other local community organizations including: American Cancer Society, American Heart Association, and United Way. He currently serves on the boards of the Tunica Convention and Visitor’s Bureau and the United Way Mid-South.
Barber and his wife, Teri, live in Germantown. They have two children, Ryan and Avery.
